Work has been continuing at EcoWorks with the Straw Bale building in Nottingham. The building, now being fully enclosed with the main doors having being constructed and fitted All window frames fitted last year. Earlier this year, guttering and assorted woodwork has been completed.

The JB Spray squat in Radford, Nottingham is under threat of eviction. The occupiers, who have been in the building since May 2009, have been served with notice of a court date for 2nd August. On Sunday July 18th, the Anarchist Federation's Nottingham group hosted an event at the Sparrow's Nest entitled "Civil War and Revolution: Anarchism in Spain". The event came the day after the re-dedication of the memorial to the International Brigades at County Hall, West Bridgford.
