Police discover Cannabis Growing Operations near Woodborough Road, Nottingham

Having been out on Sunday afternoon, I return home to find this operation going on in my street!!

To start with, I wasn't aware what it was all about. Initially the officers 'couldn't say' what was happening .... but after a cooling fan, assorted wiring, lighting and switches. Together with various air ducting and incubators .... the officer said it wasn't rocket science to conclude!

During the removal of this paraphernalia, there was all the usual discussion about who I was, why I was taking pictures, and where they were going to be published.  To be fair, this time, the assembled officers listened to my case, and the initial aggravation melted and they turned out to be fairly easy-going and helpful in letting me do some close-ups and 'still lifes'.

candid camera:), medicinalise marijuana&

unmedicinal use of marijane can be occasionally physcologically harmful, though if u compare with alcohol which we have been culturally used to for many years its debatable.
It should be legalised& put in the hands of medical professionals to be prescribed& those who want to use it for recreational should be warned, though it has been used in medicinal herbalism like aspirin- birch bark for many centuries. Modern chemistry has roots in Herbalism.

Hemp was once the staple of the British empire, it kept the biggest navy in the world running4centuries via sail& rope still unrivalled for its grip& ability to grow without fertilisers in many climates. It was seen as threat by the dupont oil & plastic empire who lobbied for its ban.

Hemp is legal to grow in britain under prohibitve licences,
vvvvsadly the Green movement under Monbiot have caved into the idea that biofuels are bad news & the industrial unedible last pressings of hydrogenate oil should be eaten by the poor. I wonder if good old George eats oil that clogs arties for many years& even flies avoid themselves???

1 acre of Hemp can produce 500gallons of fuel!!

It is the most versatile crop man can cultivate; needs no pesticides, herbicides and very little water, grows on marginal land and can produce two to four crops annually given geographic location and can be grown in the same soil harvest after harvest.
According to the US dept of agriculture it can produce 4times more paper than any tree.
4-5x stronger than cotton.

Rudolph Diesel designed his engine to run on hemp oil

Why are the police are sent after little people doing small crops?, rather than "contra" criminals who make billions out of heroin & cocaine to keep "afloat" the stockmarkets, interesting use of tax dosh.
Heroin-morphine should only be used in hospitals or by the terminally- v.ill.
Cocaine makes people into horny narcisistic idiots, hence its popularity around hollywood& the stockmarket to get annoying people laid easily& boost their confidence,
