We have set up an internet petition about the council's eviction of the Occupy Camp from the Market Square.

This initial statement was collectively agreed by over 500 people on the steps of St Paul's on 16th October 2011. Point 8 was added by the Occupy London General Assembly on 19th November 2011. After ammending point 6, Occupy Nottingham collectively agreed to fully adopt the entire 'common statement', at the General Assembly on 25th January 2012.

Sunday evening saw the spectacular Chinese New Year Celebrations at the Lakeside Arts Centre, University of Nottingham.

Last night a small group of people successfully managed to hang a net between some trees and drop a couple of banners in solidarity with Shell to Sea and Rossport Solidarity Camp.  We plan to be here all day (Friday 27th) and possibly into the evening.

A bunch of people concerned at the possible criminalisation of squatting, are looking into how we can open more 'community spaces'.  Meeting in Nottingham, we have a mind to keep a list of suitable empty properties that need to be put to better use, than being empty!

Gathering at the Polish Eagle Club, Sherwood Rise, Nottingham, over 250 people attended the Nottingham launch of revolutionary rapper Lowkey's "Soundtrack to the Struggle" album.

Occupy Nottingham appeared on 97.5 kemet FM on Sunday 13th of November at 9:00PM for a 2 hour show.

Occupy Nottingham bought their poppies today from Alley Cafe and Bernados charity shop in preparation for Fridays Armistice Service.
