Mark Kennedy report to rule out monitoring of undercover police

Well what a surprise. Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary is expected to stop short of accepting recommendations that there should be rigorous independent oversight into the deployment of undercover officers. It would seem that they've decided Kennedy was just a bad apple and that the wannabe spies that run undercover policing can continue to act however they please.

There's also news about the dreaded Mark Kennedy story film (yawn) which is going to be directed by Michael Winterbottom.
