A student photographer covering the occupation in Market Square, Nottingham witnessed the arrest of someone from the camp yesterday afternoon. He attempted to video the arrest and was promptly intimidated into handing over the video tape.

Meeting outside Boots on Upper Parliament Street, protestors and activist proceeded to Vodafone in Clumber Street, a regular on the Notts uncut tour route ... to remind them of the £8billion pounds that they owe in taxes.

The occupation of the Market Square, Nottingham continues. More tents have arrived. A gazzebo and a field kitchen has been setup. Donations of food, blankets and assorted material have been given, but are still needed.

On Friday 3rd December, the students occupying the Great Hall at the University of Nottingham agreed to leave, in return for a meeting with the Vice Chancellor. After university security playing some pretty obvious tricks on them ("you're in contravention of health and safety", "there's a wedding scheduled to take place in the room"), Nottingham students seem to have caved in and ended their occupation of the Great Hall. Leaving the building wasn't necessarily a bad thing. But agreeing to a cosy chat with the Vice Chancellor is a total cop out.
