: Nottingham happenings over university fees hike

Today (Wednesday November 24th) is the National Walkout and Day of Action Against Tuitions Fees. In London, thousands of students have faced-off against the Met Police, while there are occupations across the country.

Nottingham has been rather quieter, but the day has not passed unmarked, with a rally and teach-in at the University of Nottingham. The local Tories meanwhile have closed shop for the day so they can go an hide somewhere.
