Occupy Leicester: Occupy Leicester move indoors

"Occupy Leicester has therefore decided, in the face of the bitter cold of winter, that in order to survive as a protest, we need to find shelter. Although we considered the potential impact of having a reduced public presence, we felt that the well-being of our supporters are paramount, and with a number of people having to take time out due to illness, we needed to find a location which could sustain us over the cold winter.

"At approximately 11pm on Saturday 17th December, Occupy Leicester lawfully secured an otherwise vacant commercial property down the high street. This building had been vacant for months and as far as we could tell Safe Computing Ltd (who own the property) had no plans to fill the space in the near future."
