Most people agree that fairness is important but disagree about what is fair - help for the needy, for example, and higher taxes to pay for it ? This course shows how political theorists can bring clarity to our ideas about fairness, looks at examples of fairer democratic decision-making and considers how the economy could become more accountable.
Tutor: Bettina Lange
Course runs Fridays - 1st and 8th November, 10-3:00pm at the New Mechanics
Free for those on means test benefits; £35 otherwise
