The WNBR is a protest against unsustainable oil usage and the infestation of our roads by cars. Our lack of clothing demonstrates our vulnerability as cyclists, and celebrates that we all have one thing in common: our vehicle is human-powered.

The ride is actually clothing-optional and you are welcome to wear as much or as little as you want, the real point of the ride being to convey the protest message. To do this we decorate our bikes and bodies with messages of opposition to oil dependency and car culture.

The route passes through central Nottingham and is mostly flat with a few gradients. It is under 5 miles and less than 60 minutes gentle cycling. We expect to leave The Arboretum soon after 4pm and return there around 5pm
