The Old Market Square

Places:

Occupy Nottingham will be celebrating six months/182 days on the Market Square this Saturday 14th April, along with the same anniversary of the Global Occupy movement.

Come along and join us in unity, for an Occupy Rally on the Square.

Musicians and entertainers joining in throughout the day and the evening.

Free food stand and artists corner, bring contributions; make your own poster.

Rally and march around the City Centre addressing some of the problem establishments as we pass and a roving public assembly and debate in front of the Council House where we will be discussing the movement, what we have achieved so far, the issues we face, what we must do next and where we go from here.

Bring your outlaw costumes, banners, signs, instruments and dancing shoes, lets make some noise!

Let us show the Authorities in Nottingham that we have brought the heritage and spirit of Robin Hood and his companions the men and women of Sherwood back to life in the City and we won't be losing it again; Robin Hood is back in Nottingham and he won't rest until the rich are taxed and the poor are treated fairly.
