5th Annual Charity Second-hand Booksale, in aid of the anti-destitution work of Nottingham and Notts Refugee Forum; and Hayward House Cancer Care (recently saved from closure).
This is the fifth birthday of the event, and to celebrate we running it for three days instead of two, and there will be free birthday cake (while it lasts)!
Books rescued from landfill and sold cheaply to raise money for good causes. ExLibris is a member of the Federation of Masked Booksellers.
We have been given lots of exciting stuff this year. We have several first editions; books on polar exploration; Thomas Hardy 1903 volumes; Linguaphone vinyl LP Teach Yourself Chinese set; books on native Americans; 2011 law books; as-new modern fiction; history books; music CDs; art and photography books; unusual and quirky books; books for children and teenagers; poetry and plays; cookery and gardening books; funny books; books on politics; books on psychology and social studies; and lots, lots, more. Come and browse!
The sale will go ahead whatever the weather!
