McDonalds & KFC planning application

McDonalds have put in a planning application to open a branch at Clifton Lane, Nottingham NG11 8NA. They tried last year but were refused (see http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/Plans-pub-rejected/story-13164950-detail/story.html).
This time they've come back all guns blazing, and teamed up with KFC. Great.
Anybody can object, but it has to be on 'planning' grounds, such as visual impact, 24 hour disturbance in a residential area, noise, smell, anti social behaviour (beyond simply trashing the planet), access, traffic etc. For example in the report (above) residents expressed concerns that "it would be a magnet for gangs and would create more litter."
The StreetView of the location at http://tinyurl.com/nar-mcd2 will give a hint as to potential issues. It is on the already over-capacity A453 and the near doubling of parking spaces indicates that more (short stay) traffic is expected. Despite the site backing on to a residential area, 24 hour x 7-day opening is applied for.
If you feel you could just put even one sentence in to object to it then please do!
March 1st is the deadline, and you can do it online at http://tinyurl.com/nar-mcd1.
Just scroll down, bottom left in green "comment on application".
The application itself is at http://tinyurl.com/nar-mcd3
It is interesting to note that the application doesn't mention McD & KFC upfront.
The application is from a 'Nottingham-based company Medina Green Ltd' via an 'agent'. Only when looking at the proposed view in the Layout Plans & Elevations do you see that it is actually for McD & KFC. (See pdf at http://tinyurl.com/nar-mcd4)
Please object, and pass it on!
Thanks

Whilst not necessarily grounds for planning objections there is plenty more at McDonalds not to enjoy; everything from nutrition, animals and the environment to globalisation and capitalism! See http://www.mcspotlight.org/issues/index.html

Planning Applications
Planning applications are about asking what please think of certain plans. This article raises awareness of this process. You seem to assume that public what another MaccyD. Or that any company should have the right to built whatever they like without consultation. Then there's question of whether consumer choice should include animal cruelty. Also, there are many fastfood outlets so this won't vastly improve consumer choice. These companies take money out of the local economy and they bully their suppliers. Letting multinationals do anything they like won't increase consumer choice.
Checkout the following book for information on how these powerful companies have eroded british food culture.

Becuase we don't like it nobody else should be able to buy it
In essecence this is an attempt to deny consumer choice by preventing a place of retail opening.
A group of people have decided because they do not like KFC or McDonalds everyone else should be stopped from buying their food and eating there by having local councils ban them!
It seems it's not enough for opponents of certain retailers to just not buy their products they have to stop everyone from buying them too.
