Students at New College Nottingham's High Pavement campus are planning a boycott of classes and demonstration tomorrow (Thursday 5th July). They are angry about proposed changes to the student timetable and the manner in which NCN Principal and CEO, Amarjit Basi, is implementing them. The protest is planned to last from 9am to 12pm at the Chaucer Street campus.

May issue of the Forest Fields Fire is out. Reaching 2,000 homes in the forest fields area.
On Saturday after the comedy, chaos and acrimony of the May Day rally, Autonomous Nottingham and friends from Afed and elsewhere descended onto the Saturday city streets to do a wee bit of spread the word about the ruling classes latest attack on us precarious workers and unemployed. They like to call it Workfare, we call it another pile of steaming crap.
Over the past few weeks Lenton Flats residents and Autonomous Nottingham have organised a couple of meetings in order for the residents to come together to share their grievances, anger and frustration at the behaviour of Nottingham City Homes
According to the Nottingham Post and Nottingham City Council, the big news is that Nottingham has voted 'No' to having an elected Mayor. Isn't the real story here that the political system is disconnected from 76.1% of people in Nottingham?
