Left Lion: Secretwalls Graff

The concept is an international one, it’s a battle of lyricless wit between choice graffiti artists across a wall wider than your mother's sari, judged 'Eight-mile' style by the audience, and with the incentive to be elevated through a national league system hoping to literally take on the world.

Artists were billed as performers and impressed everyone who went through the door or even just wal…

BBC News: EDL activist in Notts pleads guilty

"A 25-year-old English Defence League member has pleaded guilty to daubing racist graffiti on land being considered as a site for a mosque." (BBC News)

: Nazi graffiti in Newark

According to an article in the Newark Advertiser, Nazi graffiti has appeared in Newark, with swastikas being scrawled on the front door of an internationally-renowned French fashion photographer, Michel Haddi, of Millgate, who has a Jewish girlfriend and on a car belonging to Ruth Vella who lives nearby. It is unclear if these are the actions of idiot kids or indicate something more serious.

Nottingham City Council begin Graffiti 'clean up' ...... Well the East Midland Today report I've just seen ...  says vandalism a number of time in their report. But it's not.  This was a permitted area were artists were expected to be able to contribute some art.  Now Nottingham City Council have begun their vendetta against this form of expression. I want to make it clear I am not in favour of ta…
