The Anti Academies Alliance has been set up by parents, teachers and governors who believe in a fair and comprehensive education for all and a good local school for every child. We believe that the Academies Act, which paves the way for new academy schools, is an attempt to destroy a democratic, planned, state education system and replace it with a two tier, market driven collection of independent schools.
