This is part of a national day of action by the National Campaign Against Fees
and Cuts. https://www.facebook.com/events/565580810188930/
We will be demonstrating in solidarity with protests in London and around the
country.

The last few weeks has seen massive repression of peaceful student protest.
Students have been suspended, arrested and violently attacked for daring to
campaign for free and democratic education.

We must defend the right to protest. These developments affect our ability to
campaign on all the issues we care about.


When:
| 2pm, Wednesday 11th December

Where:
| Trent Building courtyard, University Park
| To get there from town centre get the #34 NCT bus to East Drive on campus and
| then walk down the road to the Trent Building.

What to bring:
| Flyers, banners, placards for any campaigns you have - this affects all campaigns.
| #CopsOffCampus flyers - some will be created and uploaded soon, please print off.
| Megaphones and other aids for making noise.
| Any other visual aids you can think of.

We are making the following demands of the Vice Chancellor of UoN:
* Make a public statement condemning the police violence and repression of protest.
* Also make a statement against the suspension of students at Sussex.
* Promise that UoN security will not call in police on any protests on university campuses.
