Places:
An evening of live blues, folk and worldbeats music.
Entry by donation (suggested £3). Proceeds from All Fired Up will be in aid of Nottingham-based charity Equation, a pioneering organisation working to end domestic abuse.
Salmagundi headline an evening of live local music that will get bodies moving and feet stomping. Salmagundi is a lively seven-piece performing original music infused with a world of influences: czardas to ska, samba to tango, and all stops in between. A combination of powerful vocals, trombone, saxes, violin, clarinet, accordion... it all makes for a big sound. Built for dancing!
Supported by Three Minute Heist, an up-and-coming Derby five-piece with a fresh, energetic and modern take on traditional blues. Performing a wealth of original material with ?an on-stage charisma that blows insincere naval-gazing Indie out of the water? (Electric Banana). Music with an extremely broad appeal.
Opened by Georgie Rose, a seriously talented singer-songwriter hailing from Mansfield. The award-winning young musician plays blues, folk and mellow country. Georgie has a powerful and soulful voice and a strong stage presence, both as an acoustic solo or backed by her band playing drums, guitar and bass. Returning after Farmyard tipped her as ?100% destined for success? earlier this year.
Accompanied children welcome until 9.30pm.
PLUS *live firewalk* at 9pm! And a GREAT raffle - tons of prizes!
