The latest single status proposals [proposed by Nottingham City Council] will mean meassive pay cuts for many school support staff.

Some teaching assistants will lose as much as £7,000 per year - with no pay protection meaning salaries will drop from April 2011. Average pay cuts for TAs would be 25%. Other staff would also lose pay and possibly annual leave.

We need to let the city council know that we are not prepared to accept these proposals - please come along and join the protest.

Further information is available from Jean Thorpe at the Unison Branch Office on 9156890 / 9156883.
