Secondhand charity booksale by ExLibris (The Masked Booksellers).  Discarded books rescued and sold for charity.

In aid of local charities:
Nottingham & Notts Refugee Forum Destitution Fund (supporting destitute asylum seekers) http://www.nottsrefugeeforum.org.uk/index.htm
&
Hayward House Cancer Care http://www.nuh.nhs.uk/palliativecare/serviceavailability.aspx.

This is the fourth year of the ExLibris Carlton Book Sale.  We also sometimes run book stalls at events such as the Green Festival.  Books are sold cheaply so that everyone can afford them, and all proceeds are given to charity or good causes; nothing is kept by ExLibris.  There will be a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction books (including children’s), from only 10p.  A large number of books are for sale – too many to display at once.  More books will be put out on Sunday.

Some of our stock is donated by friends and well-wishers; some is rescued from being thrown away by e.g. public libraries.  Last year we were given the personal book collection of Keith Leonard, of Mushroom Bookshop, and we still have some of these left to sell this year.  We also have a particularly good selection of books on native Americans this year.

ExLibris:
·    Books kept out of landfill
·    Books made available cheaply for those who want them
·    Charities and good causes supported

Members of the Federation of Masked Booksellers believe in doing good by stealth.

You can get to us with buses 25, 44, 45, 100.  Most of the stock is accessible to wheelchair users.  We will go ahead come rain or shine.

Please help us to promote this sale and circulate the flyer.  Thanks.
