CHANGE AT WORK

·         Overworked?  Underpaid?  Lacking job security?

·         Feel the need to do something about poor conditions at work?

·         Want to find out what can be done to change things?

Come along to the meeting in Nottingham on 10th October to hear about examples of what has been done by people facing similar work place issues.

Hear from experienced organisers about getting together to push for the changes that are needed.

Talk to us, in confidence, about the situation in your workplace and share ideas and solutions.

THE IWW

The meeting at the Mechanics Institute on North Sherwood Street in Nottingham is organised by the IWW Union.  The IWW, or “Industrial Workers of the World” is called industrial because it seeks to organise all workers in all industries – (skilled and unskilled; manual, technical and clerical; casual, permanent and unemployed) to get a better deal and push forward towards a better world.  It is an international union started in the United States of America in the last Century but now gaining members all around the world.

The IWW is not linked to any political party and welcomes people from all faiths and none.  What unites us is our position as workers and our belief that the world can be made a better place, starting with each workplace.

The meeting starts at 7.30pm.
