Tagged as: cuts workJust to announce a minor change to Notts TUCs May Day festival this year. The rally will now take place at the Congregational Hall, Castle Gate, Nottingham from about 11.15 am.
Other details remain unchanged - the march will still assemble at the Forest Recreation Ground (Goose Fair site) from 10.00 am. There is still a great and varied selection of speakers including (hopefully) a representative of ASLEF drivers in dispute with East Midlands Trains over pensions changes.
PCS General Secretary, Mark Serwotka is topping the bill!
See you at the Forest, 10.00 am sharp!
Places: nottinghamshire
Notts May Day march and rally is on Saturday 5 May. The march starts at 10am from Forest Fields with the rally from 11.15 (was at Speakers Corner, now at Congregational Hall, Castlegate)
Speakers include Mark Serwotka, General Secretary of PCS, Alan Meale, Mansfield Labour MP, Lee Barron, regional Secretary of CWU and representatives from all of the trade unions in Nottinghamshire.
