Meet at the Robin Hood statue, Nottingham Castle

If you are participating in the Parade please be at the meeting point for 10am. On arriving please make yourself known to the event staff so that we can tick you off the registration listing. Marshals will then assemble all participants and explain what’s going to happen and be able to answer any questions.
The Parade begins at 11am leaving the Robin Hood Statue beside the walls of Nottingham Castle, we depart there and head down Friar Lane to the Market Square, our first “catch up” point.
We leave Market Square via King’s Street and through King’s walk into Trinity Square, our second “catch-up” point.
From Trinity Square, we march behind The Corner House cinema complex onto Burton Street, turn right on to Shakespeare Street and continue in a straight line until we reach the Arboretum, making a grand entrance via the tunnel!
However much pre-planning we do, this route is still subject to change even down to the last minute! For example: we may need to follow a diversion on request of the Police, so don’t stress - we’ll get everyone there safe & sound.
.PLEASE NOTE:
There is a STRICT NO DRINKING policy; anyone found drinking or being drunk and disorderly will be ejected from the parade and be subject to the full effect of the law. If anyone sees an individual drinking or engaging in anti-social behaviour then they should report them to a marshal or the Police officers present.
NO WEAPONS ceremonial or otherwise are permitted on the Parade or at The Gathering - if you have an Athame… DO NOT BRING IT.
However… Staffs, Besoms/Brooms, Stangs, and walking sticks are allowed.
