A night of feminist-related DIY music and food on Tuesday 30th August, 7pm at the Sumac Centre.
Featuring:
- reSist@s, a dark feminist acoustic band from Vienna, speaking out about feminist resistance and boundary violations. http://resistas.blogsport.eu
- El Dia, radical feminist spoken word artist and hip-hop femecee. http://martinezdy.wordpress.com
From 6pm we will be showing a documentary about the Riot Grrrl music scene. Also, there will be lots of zines and an info stall available about related stuff.
Food and entrance are for donations please. This gig is part of a series of events at the Sumac to fund-raise for Nottingham Anarchist Black Cross, including:
- Cop on Fire - Belgian upbeat ska-punk - Thursday 25th August
- Glasses + 2 other bands - various international punk bands - Saturday 27th August
