On May 14th, assorted right-wingers will hold a "Rally Against Debt" (read: Rally For Cuts) in London. Anti-cuts groups, including Notts SOS, will be there to oppose these cheerleaders for the government.

The Rally Against Debt is being organised by the Taxpayers Alliance and has been endorsed by Daniel Hanan MP, who infamously slagged off the NHS on American TV.

It is clearly a response to the half a million strong "March for the Alternative" organised by the TUC and is the first serious attempt by the right in this country to organise in response to the anti-cuts movement. It is important that we don't stand by and let this pass without a response.
