The BNP's Elections Officer for the East Midlands, Wayne McDermott, is being investigated by the police after posting racist material on his website. Allegedly, racist insults and the promotion of torture were posted although they have now been removed.
McDermott is a Parish Councillor for Ellistown and Battleflat ward, located in North-West Leicestershire. According to the Leicester Mercury, he was recently elected as a parent governor at Ellistown school.
McDermott, along with Ashfield BNP man, Edward Holmes, had a run in with BBC reporter Des Coleman who challenged their ideas about Britishness: http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/leicester/hi/people_and_places/newsid_8296000/8296477.stm

So!
The more people that know this the more we can get it out there in the public realm and discredit these bastards

anything that impeders the bnp and especially if it costs em money, i assume this guy is gonna have some kind of legal proceedings against him if he's found to be behaving inappropriately, is a blow at a time where they are severely weakened. whilst we should never rely on the state to do our job for us these rare occurrences of the people who deserve aggro getting it are a funny little drama to watch. but most importantly this shows that the bnp, as much as they claim otherwise are bigots no matter how they lie and hide it, and in the midlands, where they have a big support base i is important to damage their credibility as there are a large amount of bnp voters who don't see them as racist or realise how vile they are. nurturing the idea that they are extremists may not stop them winning seats but it may erode support in swing areas :)
