Friends of Amdani gather in Market Square

At 5pm today, friends of Amdani Juma gathered in Market Square to demonstrate for his leave to remain in the UK. A large and vocal crowd gathered on the steps of the Council House with banners, placards and petitions. Amdani gave a speech on the increasingly farcical Home Office attitude towards his case.

Amdani maintains that he has done everything expected of him as a migrant to the UK and has contributed much to the local community but still he is being denied the right to remain in the country. When is enough enough?I asked Amdani to explain what is happening to him and recorded his speech.
