Another bent copper

Another bent Notts copper found guilty of assault, after he'd already been booted out for a separate assault. Former PC Tim Allatt threw his victim against a wall and then dragged him face down and kicked him in the chest before arresting him. Allatt was kicked out of the force for using unreasonable force in a previous arrest. Evidence in the trial included video of the victim at Bridewell police station crying out in pain and saying "I can't breathe".
This cop scum is not just a bad apple. It is exactly his sort that want to join the force in the first place.

System worked?
How did this brutal thug get to be a policeman in the first place? The system didn't stop him from getting his sweaty mitts on a few people.
Why wasn't he sacked after this happened the first time? He was allowed to continue beating people up.
Sounds like a culture where this kind of behaviour was allowed.

Not really
System worked
While it is deplorable what he did:
- he had been dismissed already
- he was prosecuted
Seems to me that the police are doing their best to do the right thing.
