As somebody who was involved with Kennedy and stood beside him at a number of events I will decide if I choose to talk to the press about that. In particular I want the world to know the damage he has done to individuals, the emotional damage that a woman friend of mine is still dealing with as a result of her relationship with him is I know a story she wishes to tell.

Please do not set yourselves up as the 'leaders' of us who are involved. We can make our own choices without your 'advice'.

This self appointed group does not speak for me.

I think there is massive value in having this full story in the public domain and if a few in the Notts scene get their noses out of joint because it will show they vouched for a copper well so be it, these are lessons to be learned from not hidden.

I have received an email from Century Films and have responded to say I am willing to be interviewed, I have said I want no payment and that any interview becomes free to use under the creative licence arrangement.

Just something to bear in mind.... when you see a post on indymedia claiming to come from an activist (or a cop, or an employee of some company etc etc) don't take it at face value. It is well known and documented that indymedia is used as a way to inject false, distorted or misleading information into our movement.

Any posters saying that they indent to collaborate with this film for Mark Kennedy may well actually be from people who would like you to think that there are activists willing to work on this while actually there may not.

Mark betrayed us, now he is cashing in. Personally I doubt there would be anyone amoung us who'd want to help him.

This is a difficult call and I know some people are doing all they can to stop anybody talking to Century Films - threats have been made as we know however I feel that this is an opportunity to have the full story out into the wider world. 'Flash' fucked over a lot of people and that needs to be spread far and wide.
