As part of the Andrew Lansley's "pause," two "listening" events were held in Nottinghamshire to find out people's opinions on the proposals contained in the Health and Social Care Bill, one in the city and another in Edwinstone. There were protests at both and it is clear that the overwhelming message from those inside was a rejection of privatisation and marketisation.
