Last week's local elections saw the LibDems get a kicking. Nowhere was this more obvious than in Nottingham City where they were wiped out.

According to the Post, "The Liberal Democrats have been forced to close their city Freepost service after receiving hundreds of empty envelopes." This has apparently "cost the party almost £100 as it picks up the cost of any mail it receives, which is free for people to post."
